Tributes have been paid to a woman whose body was found sprawled in the road in a London suburb.
Natalie Jarvis, 23, was discovered with severe injuries in Swanley village, close to where she lived, shortly after 11pm on Wednesday. Paramedics gave her emergency treatment but she died at the scene. Four hours later a 22-year-old man — said to have been known to Ms Jarvis — walked into a London police station and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Kent Police have appealed for more information about her death. A spokesman was unable to say if her injuries were caused by a road crash or a weapon. Today dozens of bouquets lay piled at the spot where her body was found. One said: “We are going to miss you lots and your smile. Sleep tight and rest in peace.” Another read: “An amazing friendship has ended.”
Tributes were also paid on Facebook, where a page called RIP Natalie Jarvis has had more than 2,665 entries. Friend Lee Hamblin said: “Natalie was loved by everyone.”
