It was a family affair last night as Lord Lloyd-Webber turned up to support his daughter Imogen, above right, at the launch of her novel, The Twitter Diaries, at Bloomsbury HQ in Bedford Square. The novel, co-written with sports presenter Georgie Thompson, above left, chronicles their friendship after they were introduced by Piers Morgan at a New Year’s Eve party. Morgan is featured in the partly fictitious tome as “transatlantic TV host Peter Mignon” but has, the authors , backed the book. Thompson said: “We drip-fed him excerpts and the panic started to set in but he’s been amazing. He’s said he doesn’t know whether to consult his lawyer or his shrink.”
