Look out, Daniel Craig, Necros is behind you. The German baddie Andreas Wisniewski, who starred in 15th Bond film The Living Daylights as the sinister hitman, is keen to make your acquaintance.

Sadly, Wisniewski, who also starred in Die Hard, was left off the guest list for the 50th anniversary Bond celebrations. “It was a special moment,” he tells me from Berlin, “in Die Hard smashing Bruce Willis’s head into a wall. And obviously I am not making any threats but it’s more than humbling — humiliating, perhaps — to be completely ignored by the Bond team. I would have loved to have taken part but all I have received is a phone call from an obscure TV network in Wales.” Sort it out, M.
