Transport minister Simon Burns made headlines over the weekend for using a chauffeur-driven car instead of a commuter train. There was talk of him needing privacy for his government documents, but is there perhaps another reason Burns dislikes trains?

He is a heavy smoker and hates to go much longer than 30 mins without a fag. Not easy on trains.
