Nicholas Coleridge, president of Condé Nast International and deputy chairman of The Campaign for Wool, launched Wool House last night, a showcase of wool-based interiors displayed in the West Wing of Somerset House, including a bedroom designed by Firmdale owner Kit Kemp.

“It’s incredibly tempting to stay after the party’s ended and just have a sleepover,” Coleridge said.

The Prince of Wales is expected to visit on his return from Jordan but one exhibit, a life-sized bear made by crochet artist Shauna Richardson, may best be put in the back: Richardson gave royalists cause for alarm in 2010 when she created a ginger baboon as an unofficial portrait of Prince Harry.
