John Lloyd comes face-to-face with one of his puppet creations: Lord Hattersley

Spitting Image creator John Lloyd came face-to-face with the inspiration for one of his most memorable puppet creations, Lord Hattersley, at the Oldie lunch this week.

Lloyd referred to the former Labour Cabinet minister as the “eponymous hero” of his satirical programme, but the two got on very amicably nevertheless.
