Sadie Frost may be frantically rehearsing for her one-woman play, Like A Virgin, which opens at the Soho Theatre this month, but she found time to attend the launch of the John Lewis Beauty Hall in Oxford Street. Guests included leading make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury and model Laura Bailey. Sadie is also launching a line of make-up products and skincare treatments this autumn. “It’s been very intense,” said Frost of her play. “I’m alone, so it’s not like there’s anyone else to turn to when you need the heat off.”
As a Labourite, she was disappointed by Boris Johnson’s mayoral victory but Tara Palmer-Tomkinson begged to differ. “I love Boris. I’ve always been a staunch Tory, so I’m happy about Boris winning. I’m not happy about very much else but there you go.”
