Martha Lane Fox ladies it up in Soho

Over to Soho, where Martha Lane Fox, the new Baroness of Soho, cut a dash and a ribbon, opening the village fete in St Anne’s Gardens on Wardour Street.

Lastminute.com co-founder Lady Lane-Fox said she was honoured to have taken the title and said the area was “the most special place in London: edgy, fun, entrepreneurial and a bit naughty”.

She then spent hours touring the stalls, which included snail racing and a human fruit machine.
