Pink for the equality question

There is something of the schoolgirl about Work and Pensions minister Esther McVey.

Yesterday she was on the Commons front bench for Equality Questions. As occasional TV presenter McVey sat awaiting her turn, she pulled out a little pink, fluffy-looking pencil case and placed it next to the despatch box, having first extracted a pink highlighter.
