Tinder follows royal footsteps

It’s the only nightclub that the Queen has ever visited, and has long been held up as the last word in elegance and refinement, but it seems a new dawn has come to Annabel’s. According to Spears' magazine, Tinder — the brutally looks-only-driven dating app that hooks up “young professionals who do not have the time or willpower to meet partners organically” — has invaded Mayfair’s inner sanctum.

Spotting a sharp-suited gentleman with slicked-back hair entertain “two scantily-clad women” at the club bar, the reporter mournfully wonders how the drawling Casanova “had managed to find two girls at once”. The answer? “Tinder, mate. The beauty is, if they’re not up for it, I’ll just Tinder someone else.” Mark Birley would shudder in his grave.
