Hats off to Josie Rourke, left, and Kate Pakenham, right, the Donmar Theatre’s artistic director and executive producer, who were at the Hospital Club yesterday celebrating the triumphant press night for Coriolanus, which stars Tom Hiddleston and Borgen’s Birgitte Hjort Sørensen.
Among the glowing accolades was one from Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, who directed Hiddleston in Avengers Assemble. “In the Bard’s words, Holy BALLS,” tweeted Whedon “@josierourke, the cast, Tommy — you have my ‘voice’.”
