Watch out, Boris — George Galloway is eyeing up your office

9 August 2013

George Galloway is getting restless. The MP, who declared a Bradford Spring when he stole the seat from under the nose of Labour, is seriously considering a march on London’s City Hall.

“I have a committee exploring it now,” he told “artist taxi driver”, a taxi driver who filmed his interview with Galloway in a car and stuck it on YouTube. “It’s a shrunken field — Boris Johnson won’t be running. Ken won’t be running, I would never have run against Ken Livingstone as he’s an old friend of mine. Labour will run Ken Livingstone minus, the Tories will field Boris Johnson minus.”

And his chances? Confidence is something Galloway has never lacked. “I can win, yeah.” The Londoner salutes his courage, strength and indefatigability.
