He's only four days old but speculation already abounds as to what Prince George of Cambridge will call himself if he ascends the throne — assuming there will still be a throne. George VII is a strong contender, unless Prince Charles decides to use that moniker first.

The other possibility being mentioned is that he uses his middle name Alexander. But that would cause a different problem. While he would be Alexander I to Englanders, Scotland has already had three rulers of that name who reigned in the mists of the Middles Ages. That would mean he would be Alexander I of England but Alexander IV of Scotland — but that also assumes that there will still be a Union.
