As a member of America's (unofficial) royal family, Kim Kardashian West has shared her views on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this week. Speaking at the Armenia Technology Convention in Yerevan, Kardashian said that while they weren’t “perfect” - she still admired the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for “changing the world”.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said, “I think that everyone makes their own choices and decisions... I think that, like I said, no one’s gonna be perfect. I’m not, [Meghan and Harry are] not. I don’t know who is.”

“I still love and value the fact that they bring attention to such important movements that need to happen and things that they’re really passionate about,” she continued. “They’re still changing the world.”

Since their wedding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have thrown themselves into charity work - promoting a number of initiatives both at home and abroad. But the couple has also come under fire, most notably for their decision to fly by private jet several times over the summer. Singer and friend Sir Elton John, who they had visited on his private plane, defended the couple explaining that he had provided it for them and carbon offset their flight.

Later, Prince Harry released a statement revealing that he chose to fly private with Meghan Markle and their son Archie to “ensure that my family are safe” - explaining that “99 per cent” of the time he flies commercial. He also echoed Kim's sentiments, saying "no-one is perfect".

Kim Kardashian was accompanied by her sister Kourtney on her visit to Armenia, which saw Kim’s children Saint, Chicago and Psalm baptised at the Etchmiadz Cathedral. Kim and Kourtney's late father Robert Kardashian was Armeninan.

The pair also paid their respects at the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial and Kim shared a picture of some unusual Armenian souvenirs she was given - two bottles of Armenian cognac with her face printed on the label.

While there, she also attended the World Congress on Information Technology (where she said that she wanted to meet “brave” Greta Thunberg) and also met with President Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Pashinyan posted a selfie of their meeting to Twitter, writing, “We made a deal with @KimKardashian that she will visit #Armenia more often.”

In response, Kim tweeted, “Absolutely!!!!”
