London’s biggest video games consumer show is arriving in East London this weekend.

EGX Rezzed, part of London Games Festival, is setting up shop at the Tobacco Dock from 13 – 15 April as part of the annual celebration of the gaming industry.

The three-day event invites gamers and video games fans in to play, shop and explore the latest and greatest in gaming right now.

There will be over 200 PC and console games on show, and fans will be able to hang up out with YouTube stars, including OutsideXbox and cosplayers.

As well, Tim Schafer, the games industry legend who will be receiving a Gaming BAFTA fellowship award for services to the industry this week, will be a guest speaker at EGX Rezzed, discussing his 30 years in gaming.

Here’s everything you need to do at EGX Rezzed this weekend.

Meet the Creators

EGX Rezzed isn’t just about playing games, it’s about celebrating the amazing designers and developers that create the titles you know and love.

Meet the creators from big and small studios and hear what it's really like.

Get a job in gaming

This year’s London Games Festival has been all about the amazing opportunities in gaming. That’s why GamesIndustry.biz, the world’s biggest video games trade website, is holding a careers fair at EGX Rezzed.

It will be full of great advice for people wanting to break into the industry from studios including Creative Assembly and Escape, as well as Birmingham City University.

The Leftfield Collection

Indie gaming is the much-loved underbelly of the industry and EGX Rezzed will be showcasing some of the best.

Catch Florent Maurin, the brains behind the BAFTA-nominated Bury Me, My Love mobile game, which brings the Syrian refugee crisis right into your smartphone.

Board games

Gaming isn’t just about consoles. Board games are going up in popularity and EGX Rezzed will have a whole area dedicated to some of the best, including Civilisation: New Dawn and Story Cubes.

Meet the YouTubers

YouTubers are steadily becoming a crucial aspect of the games industry. OutsideXbox, or Oxbox as they’re known, are one of the biggest teams of gaming YouTubers with over two million subscribers.

The team will be doing a meet and greet with their fans so be prepared to queue.
