Two London Underground lines suffer major delays

Dick Murray17 October 2012

Early Tube commuters suffered major delays today with both Jubilee and Metropoilitan line services part-suspended.

This was due to late finish of night engineering work in the Willesden Green area.
Services were suspended between Wembley Park and Baker Street.
Both lines reopened in time for the morning peak but delays continued.
Long distance mainline rail commuters from Portsmouth to Waterloo suffered delays and diversion due to flooding between Fareham and Eastleigh.
