Fancy sleeping on a bed made of ice, shaped like a Tube carriage? Well you can at the world famous Icehotel in Swedish Lapland - 200km north of the Arctic Circle.

Every year, suites at the Icehotel are designed by artists from all around the world. To celebrate the 150th anniversary, British film director Marcus Dillistone has designed a Mind the Gap suite. The bed is of made of ice and shaped like a Tube carriage.

This is just one of 12 cabins carved from ice chosen from designs from 200 artists.

The original Icehotel was created deep within the Arctic Circle 24 years ago. The Ice Palace in the James Bond film – Die another Day - was inspired by the real-life ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi

The first guests for the Ice Suites arrived in mid December. To read Marcus’ daily blog go to http://www.discover-the-world.co.uk/en/ice-hotel-2014/mind-the-gap-diary.html
