Burger King is giving fast-food fans the chance to try their new peppercorn angus burger in a buy-one-get-one-free offer before its national release.

The new burger will be available nationwide from Tuesday, February 21, which the chain says pushes its gourmet range “to the next level”. Although, for anyone who cannot wait that long, there is a chance to try it before it goes on general release.

A statement said: “The handcrafted peppercorn angus features only the highest quality ingredients, and includes two brand new ingredients: creamy peppercorn mayonnaise and sweet caramelised onions.”

The burger will be on sale for £7.69 with a meal option costing £9.69, but it will be possible to try the new angus in a BOGOF offer for a limited time.

How to try the peppercorn angus burger before it goes on general sale

The first step is to download the Burger King app.

From there, customers can access the buy-one-get-one-free offer on any Gourmet Kings range burger. This will be available via the app from Friday, February 17 to Monday, February, 18.

The choice is yours as to whether you want to have a meal with a friend or treat yourself to two burgers. There are 29 Burger King locations across London.

The buy-one-get-one-free deal is available via the Burger King app and is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. It is also not available at motorway service locations, airports, train stations, and holiday parks.

What is the new burger?

The peppercorn angus burger is part of the deluxe gourmet range at Burger King.

The chain said: “The handcrafted masterpiece features only the finest quality ingredients and is big on taste. Juicy flame-grilled 100 per cent British and Irish Aberdeen Angus beef is housed underneath four slices of succulent bacon, delicately sliced onions, and fresh rocket.

“[It is] topped with a generous swirl of deluxe, creamy peppercorn mayonnaise and sweet caramelised onion – all served between a perfectly toasted brioche bun.”
