A man is fighting for his life in hospital after falling off his e-Scooter in a crash in north London.

The rider was found suffering serious injuries in Effingham Road, off Harringay Green Lanes at 6.45pm on Sunday.

Currently the man remains in a north London hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.

Police said they didn’t believe any other vehicles were involved in the collision.

A Met spokesman said: “Man remains in hospital in a critical condition. The working hypothesis at this time is that his injury was a result of him coming off an e-scooter.

“At this time it appears no other vehicles involved.”

Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of the injured man.

Paramedics and an air ambulance attended to him before the rider was taken to hospital.

Police launched extensive enquiries to establish how and where the man sustained his injuries.
