A man has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy in Lambeth.

Sadikee Williams, 36, of Robsart Street, SW9, was charged on Wednesday with the murder of Keane Flynn-Harling, who was found with fatal stab injuries close to his home in Oval Place at 23.45pm on July 5.

Williams has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court later on Wednesday.

The family of Keane have announced plans for a release of balloons in honour of the teenager at 6.30pm tonight close to the spot where he was found.

The Met said his family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation and continue to appeal for witnesses.

DCI Dan O’Sullivan previously assured officers were working around the clock pursuing an number of leads.

He described the stabbing as a “sad and needless loss of another young life on the streets of London.”
