Married At First Sight UK couple Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria are expecting their first baby.

Their love story started last year when they met each other for the first time at the altar on the dating show Married At First Sight, although they did not legally tie the knot on British TV.

Now a year on, the happy lovers announced their baby joy but the reality TV couple admitted they are going to delay their wedding until next year instead.

Ms Victoria told OK! magazine: “I thought it would happen and it did! We’re so excited. And the thing is we weren’t even trying! It just happened. I can’t believe it. We’re obviously just very fertile.”

Mr Aveling added: “We both said we wanted to be young parents so we’re so happy it’s happened.”

Their relationship has gone from stength to strength since leaving the set of Married At First Sight.

At the end of the reality series, Mr Aveling got down on one knee for real during their final vow renewal as they chose to stay together after the experiment.

They had initially planned to get married this year but with the baby on the way, they have decided to delay the occasion until the following year.

The couple already have a day in mind for next year to get married - the exact same date both their parents got married.

Mr Aveling added: “We’ve pushed it back to next year. We were going to get married on the date that both our parents got married so we were going to keep that tradition going, but now the baby is due around then so that can’t happen.

“Otherwise Tayah would probably be going into labour walking down the aisle and be in the hospital in a wedding dress!”
