Southwark shootings: Police probe after two men shot in Camberwell on New Year’s Eve

Two men have been left injured after a shooting in Camberwell on New Year’s Eve.

Officers were alerted by medical staff at a south London hospital that two men, aged 24 and 28, had self-presented with gunshot injuries at 8.55pm.

Both men remain in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Enquiries suggest they were injured following a shooting in the Lettsome Estate on Mcneil Road at 8.30pm.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious around that time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 giving the reference 5962/31DEC22.
