Murray mania will step up a notch when Britain's number one faces his second test of this year's Wimbledon.

The 24-year-old is due on Court 1 where he will take on Germany's Tobias Kamke.

Murray, the world number four, is 79 places higher than Kamke in the ATP world rankings, but that does not worry the 25-year-old underdog.

The Scot has also benefited from an extra day's rest after overcoming Daniel Gimeno-Traver on Monday in four sets - Kamke beat Slovenian Blaz Kavcic in four sets on Tuesday.

Kamke described the chance to face Murray as "unbelievable" and believes he can cause an upset.

"It will be a good experience for me," he said.

"To be in my favourite tournament, on the Centre Court, against Andy Murray, in England, is incredible. I will do my best. There's a chance and I never say I cannot win."

His burgeoning reputation saw Murray call on him as a practice partner in Monte Carlo in April.

Wednesday also sees Rafael Nadal, world number one, return to court.

He and American Ryan Sweeting are second on Centre Court after proceedings are started by five-time SW19 ladies' champion Venus Williams and Japan's Kimiko Date-Krumm. They will be watched by Camilla, Duches of Cornwall, who confirmed her attendance at the 125th championships.
