Comedian and actor Seann Walsh has revealed a kiss with his Strictly dance partner ruined his life - leaving him with depression.
It comes after he was caught cheating on his then girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, with his dance partner, Katya Jones, in 2018.
The kiss prompted Humphries to release a statement urging women not to stay with controlling partners.
The actress claimed Walsh had branded her “nuts” and a “psycho” when she told him she thought there was something was going on between him and Jones.
The 35-year-old told The Mirror the kiss and the statement changed his life “forever,” adding that he started having panic attacks similar to the ones he suffered in his 20’s.
“The panic attacks came back – big, big panic attacks and I ended up having what I later found out were Vertigo Seizures,” he told The Mirror.
“I had one the other day, I just lied down – I had to lie down in the street, it’s quite humiliating. It’s London so nobody gives a s***.
“I have to relive what happened. Still, I can be ok then suddenly the memories of it all come back,” he added.
At the time Walsh released his own statement which described the kiss as a “one-off drunken mistake.”
Jones also apologised and said the incident “didn’t reflect on her marriage” and she loved her husband. The couple later split.
The comic also told the Take Flight podcast that his self-belief as a comedian “had gone with the kiss and the statement and ongoing articles,” reported the Mirror.
Walsh has upcoming gigs at London’s Camden Comedy Club and the Whitchurch and Stourbridge festivals, the paper added.
