BBC Breakfast has recently had a huge shake-up in its presenters and rota, with the departure of long-standing hosts Dan Walker and Louise Minchin.
Walker departed the show after six years of presenting, on Tuesday, May17, 2022, and headed to pastures new at Channel 5 and 5 News.
At the time, he said: “I’m really excited, but this has also been a massive decision for me because I love BBC Breakfast, I love working alongside Sally [Nugent] and I love the team there.
“But Channel 5 came with big ambitions, with big plans and I don’t think opportunities like this come round very often. I can’t wait."
Sally Nugent is now one of the regular hosts of BBC One’s morning news show BBC Breakfast. However, many wonder if the presenter is married and what days she’s on the screen.

Having sat alongside Dan Walker until his departure in 2022, Nugent now co-hosts alongside Jon Kay on the BBC Breakfast sofa.
She was initially brought in as a replacement for Louise Minchin in 2021.
The Wirral-born presenter began her media career at BBC Radio Merseyside, she went on to become a sports news presenter on BBC News 24 (now known as BBC News Channel).
In November, Nugent began co-presenting on BBC Breakfast on a freelance basis, but it wasn’t until October 27, 2021 that she was made permanent.
