Listed on the Heritage Global Partners website, the auction is called “Twitter Rebranding: Online Auction Featuring Memorabilia, Art, Office Assets & More!”
Within the list of 584 items includes a bird cage, numerous company logos and an oil painting of Barack Obama.
One of the Twitter signs remains fixed to the company’s headquarters in Jessie Street with the listing reading: “Bird is still mounted on the side of the building, buyer is responsible for hiring an SF licensed company with appropriate permits.”
The picture of Mr Obama is a painting of when he was re-elected in 2012, which at the time was the platform’s most-liked tweet.
The listing also includes a painting of Ellen DeGeneres’ 2014 Oscars selfie.
Other items include a DJ booth, chairs, neon signs, and musical equipment.
The opening bid for each item starts at $25 (£19.70) with the auction set to begin on September 12 and end two days later.
Since purchasing the social media platform last year, Mr Musk has made a series of changes, most notably dropping the blue bird logo and replacing it with a black and white X.
A statue of the logo was also sold earlier this month for $100,000 (£78,366).
Mr Musk has also axed a number of jobs and changed how the social media platform verifies accounts.
