Errol Spence Jr news: World champion boxer rushed to hospital after horror Ferrari crash

World champion boxer Errol Spence Jr has been rushed to hospital after a horror Ferrari crash.

Dallas Police confirmed a sports car was involved in a smash in the early hours of Wednesday.

Tim Smith, from Haymon Boxing, said in a statement: "Errol's injuries are non-life-threatening. We don’t have any more details at the moment."

Images show the wreckage of the white car after police said it flipped multiple times, with the driver thrown from his seat.

Officers said he was taken to hospital and remains in an intensive care unit, though is expected to live.

Police have not confirmed the identity but described the driver as a 29-year-old male.

Spence Jr, 29, is a unified welterweight champion and has been ranked one of the bets pound for pound boxers in the world.

Fellow boxer Terence Crawford shared a message to Spence Jr on Twitter and wrote: "Praying for you champ @ErrolSpenceJr get well we fighters I know you will."

Kell Brook wrote: "Get well soon champ! Thought are with you and wishing you a full and speedy recovery."
