Harvey Weinstein and his wife have agreed a divorce settlement worth up to £15 million, according to reports.

Georgina Chapman, 41, the London-born designer behind the Marchesa fashion line, is expected to get primary custody of their two children.

The deal was reportedly struck last month, before the pair’s 10th wedding anniversary.

Sources claimed the settlement will be lodged in court in the next few days, avoiding a public divorce case.

According to a prenuptial agreement, the disgraced US producer, 65, must pay Chapman £222,000 in spousal maintenance for each year of the marriage.

After a decade, that figure would have risen to almost £300,000, the New York Post reported.

Assets that will be divided include an £11 million townhouse in New York’s West Village and an estate in the Hamptons worth about £9 million. They also own homes in Los Angeles and Connecticut.

Neither Weinstein or Chapman were available for comment.

The New York Daily News reported that Chapman had not yet lodged the documents to make the divorce final.

Weinstein, once worth as much as £250 million, has been accused of sexual assaults and harassment by up to 100 women. He claimed his wife was standing “100 per cent” behind him when the scandal broke last October.

Days later, as the scale of the alleged abuse became clear, she said: “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”

The former Head & Shoulders model, who grew up in Richmond, started dating Weinstein in December 2004 and married him in December 2007.

Yesterday footage emerged of Weinstein being attacked in Arizona, where he is understood to have been attending a clinic for sex addiction.

The website TMZ said it took place in a restaurant at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort. A video shows a man telling Weinstein “you’re such a piece of s*** for what you did to these women”, before slapping him twice.
