New product Mayochup is designed for foodies who can not decide between the two sauces.
The product, which is currently only sold in the Middle East, divided opinion among sauce fanatics across the globe.
Talia Pick wrote on Twitter: “I am finding Mayochup deeply upsetting.”
But others said they could not wait to try the new product.
One delighted fan of the sauce wrote: “I’ve heard Heinz have produced a ‘Mayochup’ somewhere and need to find it."
Some savvy people noted that the sauce could be made at home by mixing the mayonnaise and ketchup together.
Lewis Gorse wrote: “‘Heinz have invented Mayochup: Mayonaise and Ketchup!
“Hunnies please, I’ve been doing that since I was three.”
Many people were disappointed that the new sauce was not available in the UK.
However, Heinz said it has no plans to bring Mayochup to Britain.
A spokesman for the company said: “This is a product that we have been selling across Gulf markets since 2016. It is not available in the UK.”
For those who desperately want to try Mayochup, the product is available online at Kuwait's The Sultan Centre and Dubai's Margin Fresh, for £2.14 and £3.21 respectively.
