Two Moscow stations evacuated over 'bomb threat'

Around 500 people have been evacuated from two railway stations in Moscow after police were tipped off about bombs being planted.

RIA news agency said an emergency services source had revealed details of the operations at the Paveletsky and Kursky stations.

Sniffer dogs were reportedly sent in to search Kursky station, which is in the east of the city, but no bomb was found.

It's not clear what happened at Paveletsky station, located in the south east of the city it provides the main connection to one of the city's two international airhubs, Domodedovo Airport.

Police in Moscow declined immediate comment.
