Everyone is talking about the new John Lewis Christmas advert, which tells the story of a dog named Buster who can’t wait to enjoy a bouncing session on a little girl’s new trampoline, just like the animals who live in his garden.

The Oxford Street flaghip store has also dressed its shop windows for the festive season along the theme of Buster's tale, and are making passers-by stop, smile and take a few snaps.

This year, however, John Lewis has added an extra element to the fun with a virtual reality zone where you can experience being right in the middle of Buster's garden.

Using a headset, you step on a real trampoline and have the chance to pet foxes and honey badgers as they come along for a bounce.

If you're not so keen to show off your jumping skills – children under 13 are not allowed in the VR installation – you can always grab a fox or honey badger mask fit with a Google Cardboard headset and enjoy a 360 video.

This experience - created by London company MPC Creative - can also be found on John Lewis website and YouTube.

At the end, you're given a ticket with a code to download your own experience on the store’s website.
