This season, celebrate Christmas in the best way we know how, filled with food, fun and a mammoth bottle of fizz.

Tomorrow, Aldi will be selling a super-sized bottle of Giotti Prosecco DOCG Methuselah that contains six litres of bubbly – that’s the equivalent of eight standard bottles and an impressive 64 glasses.

If you're worried about running low on fizz this New Years Eve, this beast of a bubbly will keep your glass at least half full and no doubt bring the wow factor to your party table. This seemingly bottomless free-flowing giant also makes for fun and festive present for Christmas.

Crowned as the ‘Best Drinks Retailer’ at the renowned Retail Industry Awards, Aldi has an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits on offer at low cost prices with the Giotti Prosecco DOCG Methuselah leading the pack.

The fizz is described as a “delicate wine with a refreshing acidity and soft sherbet taste” with a mixture of lemon zest, tangerine and pear to satisfy you sweet tooth and make a fantastic way to toast to 2019 – the only heavy lifting we will be doing this year.

But if you are worried that this bottle will not be able to fit in the fridge, Aldi is also re-releasing the three litre bottle of Giotti Prosecco DOCG Jeroboam that was a huge success last year. It will also unveiled on the same day and equates to four regular sized bottles.

If last year is anything to go by, where the smaller variation of fizz flew off the shelves, we expect this gigantic option to sell out instantly.
