Tesco launches bizarre candy cane flavoured crisps in time for Christmas

Stop everything: Tesco is selling crisps that taste like candy canes.
The supermarket giant has managed to top Marks and Spencer’s infamous prosecco crisps with a combination of sweet, salty and minty.
Flavoured with sweet peppermint for a ‘sweet and salty taste experience’, the hand cooked crisps have recently hit the shelves in time for the Christmas period.
The festive crisp flavour joins other limited-edition options in the Tesco Finest range including Rum and Cocoa, Roast Beef and Mustard and Pulled Pork.
As expected, it didn’t take long for customers on Twitter to start having their say on the new snack.
One shopper said: “Tried candy cane flavour crisps today. Still don't know how I feel about them. Reckon I'd smash through a bag of them if drunk”.
The crisps themselves look nothing like candy canes, but instead have a slight pinkish hue.
