A thinner Winner shows off his body in Barbados
What a difference a year makes.
Last Christmas, a tubby Michael Winner treaded the sands of Barbados sporting a gut that would put Santa Claus to shame.
This year, the 70-year-old film director and food critic is oozing sex appeal.
Well, at least he thinks it's sex appeal he's oozing — although it could just as easily be sun oil.
Michael seemed a lot happier on his festive trip to Barbados yesterday, as he chatted on his mobile phone while taking a stroll along the beach.
Later he relaxed as his girlfriend Geraldine Lynton-Edwards applied more sunblock to his already tanned body, and then it was off for another stroll on the beach.
Life in Barbados can get pretty tough. He began a strict diet at the beginning of the year and managed to shift three-and-a-half stone.
He will reveal the secrets of his healthy eating and exercise regime in a book next year, titled The Fat Pig Diet.
