Ageing lothario Des O'Connor weds bride No 4

The groom was 75 and the best man was two. And somewhere in between was Des O'Connor's new bride.

The Countdown host and Jodie Brooke Wilson, 38, married yesterday in a chapel at Highclere Castle in Berkshire.

Their toddler son Adam acted as honorary best man, while Mr O'Connor's four daughters from his three previous marriages also attended.

Guests, including Cilla Black, enjoyed a lavish reception in a nearby marquee.

One said: "Des wanted it to be fun-filled, opulent and extravagant with music and dancing."

Mr O'Connor met Australian singer Miss Brooke Wilson in 1990 when they appeared in panto together.
