Alesha Dixon believes Strictly Come Dancing will lose to X Factor in the ratings battle next year.

The brunette beauty, who is a judge on the BBC One celebrity talent show, does not think the public "give a s**t" about the viewing figures war between the programmes, but she is expecting Strictly to lose to the singing competition in 2012.

She said: "I don't understand why we can't just enjoy both shows, I actually don't think the public give a s**t. It's the producers and the media. The public will just Sky Plus one and watch it later, they don't care.

"It's swings and roundabouts, next year they'll be beating us, the year after we'll beat them, who cares."

But Alesha hit out at the ITV1 show, saying it should pay more attention to the contestants' vocal talents rather than their off-screen antics.

She added: "The problem is, they focus too much on the drama, and everything else other the singing."

The 33-year-old panellist - who won 'Strictly' as a contestant in 2007 - admitted everyone on the show is "frisky" due to getting up close and personal with their professional partners during daily rehearsals.

Speaking on Alan Carr's Chatty Man - on which she swigged from a bottle of wine - she said: "Everybody is really frisky on the show though, you've got to be honest. Everybody is horny - the year I was a contestant everyone was really gagging for it."
