Injured Chelsea star Michael Ballack looked as sick as parrot after discovering his beloved Porsche supercar had been clamped.

The benched star cursed his bad luck when he came out to find his flash Porsche sports car was immovable, and frantically phoned round to try and get his car released.

Going nowhere: the supercar was clamped for hours before being removed

The millionaire footballer could only hang around and wait for the people responsible for rendering his car static, to come and remove the offending article.

It was another blow for the German football star who has been out all season following an ankle operation.

His injury has also ruled him out of his national team's Euro 2008 qualifier.

Germany coach Joachim Low said: "He is on the way up now and recovering well from the operation.

"He has trained with the team and everything is going to plan, and slowly but surely he is looking to get back into the Chelsea starting line-up."

Clearly his injury is not affecting his ability to drive expensive sports cars!
