Boyzone's feud with Rihanna's entourage continued last night at the O2 arena when her band left a threatening note for the lads on their dressing room door. Both acts were the star attraction at last night's Jingle Bell Ball, but the rival groups nearly came to blows AGAIN after clashing in Sydney last month.

The boys arrived at their dressing room at the O2 Arena to find a doily pinned to their door with a note scrawled on it reading: "When you get here, come and pay us a visit."

Peacemakers: Boyzone are all smiles

Luckily, the Irish man band were in a diplomatic mood, and Shane Lynch showed enormous, er, guts by making a beeline for Rihanna's entourage to make peace. Our spy said: "The note was meant as a threat, as there is no love lost between the groups.

Rihanna's group were still smarting after they had a drunken brawl with Boyzone while on tour in Australia.

"But the lads didn't want to let things fester, so Shane marched straight in to make amends. He told them everything was cool and they hadn't come for any trouble. There was lots of hand shaking and back slapping, and another bust-up was narrowly avoided." Shane told the Lite afterwards: "I went in to see the lads, and it's all sorted."
