Britney's skid it again ...

We know it's often said that Britney Spears's life is a bit like watching a car crash, but this is ridiculous.

The 26-year-old star left her kids with her father Jamie as she let off a bit of steam on a go-kart track in Anaheim, California.

Her driving record isn't exactly squeaky clean, but that didn't stop her putting her skills to the test behind the wheel of the kart.

And she ended up winning a trophy - although that might have been for the benefit of the camera crew, on hand to record the outing for her upcoming behind-the-scenes DVD, which is expected to be released along with her new album Circus.

Britney has also revealed she plans to make her first international tour since 2004 to support the album.

She has been getting her life back on track since her father took control of her affairs in February.
