Adele is gearing up to release her eagerly-anticipated new album this year, according to reports.

While the Grammy Award-winning star is yet confirm any details, it is thought that her follow-up to 21 will drop this year.

Billboard magazine reports that the British singer’s label is planning on a November release after originally teasing the record – titled 25 – last year.

Although the star is now 27, it is though that the album title will still stand, despite the release date being pushed back.

According to the magazine, Adele has worked with Danger Mouse on the new record, as well as Max Martin, Tobias Jesso Jr. and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

Ed Sheeran recently suggested that there was a lot of industry buzz surrounding the album, although he was yet to hear it.

He told Capital FM: “I haven’t heard [Adele’s album], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently, it’s really good.”

Adele’s 21 is officially the best-selling album of the last decade and spent 23 weeks at the top of the UK charts.
