Ben Affleck has been accused of groping by a second woman hours after he apologised for acting “inappropriately” towards Hilarie Burton.

The 45-year-old actor has been accused of grabbing makeup artist Annamarie Tendler’s bottom at a Golden Globes party in 2014.

Tendler, who is married to comedian John Mulaney, made the allegation on Twitter, telling her followers that she is still waiting on an apology from the Hollywood star.

She tweeted: “I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014.

“He walked by me, cupped my butt and pressed his finger into my crack.

“I guess he tried to play it like he was politely moving me out of the way and oops touched my butt instead of my lower back?”

She finished: “Like most women in these situations I didn't say anything but I have thought a lot about what I'd say if I ever saw him again.” Affleck is yet to respond to Tendler's claims.

Tendler’s accusations come hours after the Justice League actor apologised to Lethal Weapon star Burton for groping her during an appearance on MTV’s TRL in 2003.

Burton told fans she has ‘never forgotten’ the incident after one Twitter user wrote: “He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though.”

The Twitter user said they were “so sorry that happened” to the actress, to which Burton replied: “Seriously, thank you for that. I was a kid.”

Affleck later issued an apology, tweeting: “I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize.”

The Batman star faced a barrage of criticism after he issued a statement saying he had been left “saddened and angry” by the accusations levelled against shamed producer Harvey Weinstein.

He deemed Weinstein’s behaviour “completely unacceptable” and said more efforts need to be taken for “protecting our sisters, friends, co-workers and daughters”.

She is among a string of actresses including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie who have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, assault and rape.

Weinstein – who has flown to Arizona for therapy after being sacked from his production company – has unequivocally denied all allegations of non-consensual sexual behaviour.

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Affleck for comment.
