Fans need not wait much longer as the official release date for the much anticipated Better Call Saul has been announced.
The Breaking Bad spin-off show will be available to stream in the UK on February 9 and 10, with a new episode following every Tuesday at 7am GMT.
The official Twitter account for Netflix UK tweeted the news this afternoon, writing: “Who you gonna call? Netflix original series #BetterCallSaul opens for business 9th February.”
Bob Odenkirk stars as criminal lawyer Saul Goodman – the man who helped to conceal meth kingpin Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and his on-off partner Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad.
Johnathan Banks has reprised his role as Mike Ehrmantraut, with both Cranston and Paul rumoured to have expressed an interest in making an appearance in the prequel which will focus on the after events of Breaking Bad as well as during.
Despite the fact that the first series is two weeks away from airing, writer Gennifer Hutchison recently revealed that she is back in the “writers’ room” working on season two.
She tweeted: “First day back at the Better Call Saul writers' room. #season2.”
