Channing Tatum has proved his dancing abilities by re-enacting seven iconic moves in just 30 seconds.

The Magic Mike XXL star, who used to be a stripper before his acting career took off, has been filmed trying to squeeze as many well-known moves into half a minute as possible.

Pulling it off like a true professional, the 35-year-old seamlessly transitions from Madonna's Vogue routine, into the robot, the funky chicken and even the pony.

Somehow managing to keep a relatively straight face, the routine is all part of a brand new shoot for Vanity Fair magazine, shot by the legendary Annie Leibovitz.

The A-lister was in London this week for the premiere of the stripper film sequel, posing on the red carpet in Leicester Square with co-star Amber Heard.

Despite working out up to five times a day to achieve his toned physique in the film, Tatum recently admitted that he hadn't even been to the gym since they finished filming.

Speaking to Time Out, he said: "I have one enormous ab right now and it’s not even hard. I love food and I love indulging. My wife craves healthy food. I’m the complete opposite.

"Processed, sugary, salted food. That’s what I grew up on. And I was a skinny kid. Then you hit a certain age, you start drinking beer and now it’s really easy to put it on."

He added: "‘I haven’t worked out one time since “Magic Mike”. I know I’m going to have to do it again eventually. I’m not a good enough actor not to take my shirt off in a movie. So I’m just going to wait until that freight train comes."
