Coleen Nolan has silenced claims she ‘bullied’ Kim Woodburn, but said she wishes they had never met.

Woodburn stormed off of Loose Women on Wednesday after a furious on-air spat which saw more than 2,000 people sign a petition calling for Nolan to be removed from the ITV show “indefinitely”.

The duo were attempting to resolve their differences after clashing on Celebrity Big Brother 18 months ago, but it resulted in Woodburn branding Nolan “trash” and a “bully”.

Breaking her silence, Nolan told the Daily Mirror: “Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully.

“That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.”

She claimed the TV cleaner had no intentions of making amends and called the whole incident “upsetting”.

“I didn’t want to do the reunion,” she said. “It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences.

“From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it. It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone.”

She finished: “I wish Kim well. I hate to see anyone unhappy. But I want to forget we ever met again. I will never appear on a show with her again. It is better we keep to our own paths.”

Woodburn branded the clash a “circus” and called for Nolan to be sacked, telling The Sun that she had been asked on the show for “cruel entertainment”.

The 76-year-old told the publication: “I was ambushed, it was disgusting. It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired.

“They could have stopped that show. The one who had the ear mic could have stopped it. But they did nothing to curb it.”

More than 3,000 people complained to Ofcom with many left unhappy that the feud had been revisited for a “disgraceful” show segment.

A spokesperson for the broadcasting watchdog told Standard Online: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”

Loose Women is on ITV, weekdays at 12:30pm
