This year the party scene collided with the catwalk, with a host of fresh-faced models and well-known names ruling the roost in London.

From Bella Hadid winning to Model of the Year at the GQ Awards to Kate Moss posing with the Ab Fab cast at the premiere of the new film.

And wherever there has been a good party, photographer Dave Benett has been on hand to capture every moment.

With access to every red carpet, private members’ club bash and exclusive after party, Benett has documented all the celebrity antics.

Lily Donaldson and Jourdan Dunn got the party started at the Elle Style Awards in February while Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof parties together at the Brits Awards later in the month.

The Rolling Stones were out in force to open their new exhibition at the Saatchi gallery in April, drawing a predictably starry crowd.

The style set then jetted over to Cannes in May for the film festival but were back in London for the summer party season.

London Fashion Week kicked off autumn in the capital, while October was all about Halloween parties, with stars including Jemima Khan, Lindsay Lohan and Jo Wood making an impact in their costumes.

The Evening Standard Theatre Awards were a star-studded affair in November, with acting talent including Ruth Wilson, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and even The Duke of Cambridge making an appearance.

The film awards rounded off the year, with Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Grant picking up prizes ahead of awards season in the US, which kicks off at the beginning of 2017.
