David Gest’s planned tour could still go ahead despite the star’s death earlier this week.

The soul music show, titled David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul, is thought to be going ahead as a tribute to the late entertainer.

Scheduled to kick off in July, the tour had a line-up of stars including Dina Caroll, Russell Thompkins Jr, Deniece Williams, Billy Paul, Peabo Bryson, The Tymes,

While the details are reportedly in the process of being finalised with his lawyers, insiders suggest that everyone involved is keen for the show to go on.

“Everyone involved wants the tour to go ahead, it’s what David would have wanted,” an insider told Bang Showbiz.

“He lived for music and took great pride in bringing over so many of his friends from the soul and R&B world over to the UK for so many tours over the years.

“At the moment it is in the hands of the lawyers as to what is going to happen but everyone involved is determined to sing in David’s memory.”
