Family affair: three generations of Beckhams descend on Paris for Victoria's birthday
The Beckhams will be out in Paris in full force this weekend when David flies them over to celebrate Victoria’s 39th birthday.
The 37-year-old football star missed his wife’s birthday because he was training for Paris Saint Germain while his family was in the UK.
Victoria celebrated her big day with her children - Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and one-year-old Harper - in London yesterday. She wrote on Twitter: “Thank you for all your messages! Having a special day with my boys and Harper x vb”.
But she has even more to look forward to as David flies her, the children and the grandparents over to the French capital this weekend. A source told The Mirror: "David was on duty with his club Paris St Germain so couldn't be with Victoria yesterday, the day of her actual 39th.
“Obviously, they spoke lots and he'd arranged a series of small gifts, including flowers, to be with her on the day, courtesy of the kids. But his main present is flights for the whole family, including the grandparents, to join him in the French capital.
“He and Victoria have hardly spent any time together of late and so David's saying he's going to spoil her rotten and make up for lost time."
David reportedly invited the grandparents so they can babysit the children while he and Victoria have an evening out.
The source added: "The grandparents are on babysitting duty, meaning David has a whole day and night alone with wife. He's booked a five-star hotel and will pull out all the stops."
