Grammys 2015: backstage snaps from Rihanna kissing Sam Smith, Kim Kardashian pulling a funny face and Rita Ora helping Miley Cyrus with her make-up

Camera crews may have been capturing a dazzling list of celebs as they graced the red carpet, but a haul of A-listers treated fans to a sneak peek backstage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Madonna – who was sporting a questionable look in a corset and fishnets which showed off her behind – took time to update her Instagram with a selfie of herself and Taylor Swift. Alongside a picture of the pair the Rebel Heart artist wrote: "Shaking it up back stage at the Grammy's with Taylor!! #livingforlove."

Rita Ora was snapped touching up Miley Cyrus’ red lipstick as the pair chatted together, and Sam Smith – who cleared up with four out of the five gongs he was nominated for – uploaded a picture of himself receiving a kiss on the cheek from Rihanna.

Queen of the selfies Kim Kardashian snapped away and uploaded a picture of herself, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen pulling a funny face alongside the caption: "This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!"

Kim's husband Kanye was clearly equally as shocked as his wife that Beck scooped the award for Best Album over Beyonce, and stormed the stage in protest.

Also keeping fans up-to-date with the backstage antics was Usher who uploaded a selfie of himself with Chris Brown and another with Stevie Wonder, who he performed with at the 57th annual awards bash.
