Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian has purchased four billboards in appreciation of her parenting, with each celebrating her as the “greatest mother of all time”.

The champion tennis player’s new husband surprised her with the billboards, which he proudly claimed to have “designed myself”.

Ohanian said the surprise was to mark his wife’s “welcome back to tennis” following her maternity leave,

The billboards have been set up along the way to William’s next game at the BNP Paribas Open in California, across Palm Strings highway.

Tweeting about the news the American entrepreneur wrote: “These just went up on alongside I-10 into Palm Springs. @OlympiaOhanian & I wanted to welcome her back to tennis.

“Designed them myself, with some help from Jr.#GMOAT.”

The billboards each feature a different image of Williams and the couple’s adorable new baby girl.

Williams is set to play her first tournament after giving birth in September, with her last match being the 2017 Australian Open which she won whilst eight weeks pregnant.

Fans gushed over the couple's “amazing” relationship on social media.

One wrote: “Where did she find him? #romantic.”

Whilst another said: “So happy for Serena. She found an amazing man.”

Another user posted: “That’s the best part about their love, neither one was looking. They were at the same place at the same time.”
