Actress Jessica Falkholt ha had her life support machine switched off just one day after her parents’ funeral.

The Home and Away star is the fifth victim of the tragic Boxing Day car crash that claimed the lives of her mother, father and sister.

The 29-year-old actress had been in a medically-induced coma since the horrific collision in New South Wales over Christmas, with her family keeping vigil at her bedside.

Falkholt’s parents Vivian, 60, and Lars, 69, were killed instantly during the collision, while her sister Annabelle, 21, died three days later in Liverpool Hospital.

Craig Whitehall, 50, the other driver involved in the collision, also died at the scene.

According to Australia’s Daily Telegraph, Whitehall was a serial traffic offender who had previously been jailed four times for dangerous driving.

Friends and family of the Falkholts gathered for the funeral of Lars, Vivian and Annabelle at St Mary's Catholic Church at Concord in Sydney on Wednesday.

Annabelle’s boyfriend Jordan Brohier led the pallbearers as hundreds gathered at the church to pay tribute to the family.

Folkholt had appeared as Hope Morrison in popular Australian soap Home and away in 2016 and has shot scenes for the upcoming supernatural horror film, Harmony.
